Regional Minority Health Coalitions
The Regional Minority Health Coalitions (RMHC) provide a collaborative community forum for business leaders, health and other professionals, and interested citizens to discuss health concerns that are specific to the local arena. These coalitions assist in coordinating issues that impact health in both rural and urban communities with general emphasis on economic and community development, education and health. Based in the regional areas of the state, the Coalitions have coordinators active in public and private sector health organizations. The coalitions receive technical assistance and support from the Division of Minority Health and Developmental Disabilities through consultation, information resources, database sharing and networks.
