How to Get Involved
The Tennessee Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition is seeking assistance from you and your organization to implement a program to effectively prevent and control cancer in Tennessee. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded funding to the Tennessee Department of Health to implement a Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan for Tennessee, addressing gaps in order to reduce the burden of cancer in our state. A PDF version of the TCCCP plan is available online or a hard copy can be obtained by contacting the TCCCP staff. Six TC2 regional coalitions are meeting to plan cancer control activities that implement the state plan.
As of February 2006, five TCCCC regional coalitions are meeting to plan cancer control activities that implement the State Plan.
